How to find the cheapest gas in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur?

In Marseille and Toulon, supermarket stations keep prices reasonable. On the French Riviera — Cannes, Nice, Antibes — stations often run 10 to 20 cents more, especially in summer. In the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Hautes-Alpes, remoteness drives prices up: fill up in town before heading into the mountains.

The Je Carbure Malin app locates every station around you in real time and ranks them by price. Free on iOS and Android, it uses official data from the French Ministry of Economy, updated several times a day.

Which fuel should you choose in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur?

E85 remains scarce in the region. LPG, however, is available in the major towns. If you regularly travel between PACA and Italy, note that Italian prices are often higher.

In general: diesel remains cost-effective on long trips thanks to its better energy efficiency. SP95-E10 suits almost all vehicles made since 2000 and is cheaper than regular SP95. E85 is the cheapest fuel per liter — but it burns faster, which cuts the real-world savings to about 20-30% depending on the vehicle.
