How to find the cheapest gas in Île-de-France?

In Île-de-France, supermarket stations in the outer suburbs (Seine-et-Marne, Val-d'Oise, Essonne) consistently show the lowest prices. Avoid stations inside Paris itself and those on major roads like the ring road or highway entrances, where a liter can cost 15 to 20 cents more.

The Je Carbure Malin app locates every station around you in real time and ranks them by price. Free on iOS and Android, it uses official data from the French Ministry of Economy, updated several times a day.

Which fuel should you choose in Île-de-France?

SP95-E10 is widely available in Île-de-France and suits the vast majority of recent vehicles. E85 remains uncommon in the region, though a few stations in the outer suburbs offer it at a very attractive price.

In general: diesel remains cost-effective on long trips thanks to its better energy efficiency. SP95-E10 suits almost all vehicles made since 2000 and is cheaper than regular SP95. E85 is the cheapest fuel per liter — but it burns faster, which cuts the real-world savings to about 20-30% depending on the vehicle.
